Welcome To Herdmans B&B a lovely late Victorian farm house in an unrivalled location 2 miles south of Brecon in the foothills of Pen-y-Fan. Nick and Jane Herdman opened their home to guests last year on their family run sheep farm in the Brecon Beacons National Park, its just 2 hour walk from the house to the summit of Pen-y-Fan via Cwmgwdi car park. You can be assured of a relaxing and comfortable stay in one of our spacious en-suite rooms they have everything you need and a bit more including complimentary toiletries, TV, Free WiFi, hairdryers. The rooms face North and West and boast spectacular panoramic views. Jane prepares and cooks the most delicious breakfasts offering a wide selection of quality dishes. She will only ever use the best ingredients sourcing most of them locally or making them herself including scrumptious home made butter.The eggs come from her cheeky hens who wander nonchalantly around the farm and sometimes venture into the garden when they spot an opportunity. Breakfast is served in the lovely double aspect dining room, it has a wood burning stove and doors to the seating area in the garden, if its a fine morning have breakfast out here and enjoy some of the best views the Brecon Beacons has to offer, in the evening you may like to sit out with a glass of something nice wrapped up in a cosy throw watching the breathtaking night skies. All guests are offered a complimentary packed lunch for their day in the Beacons and a free lift to Storey Arms for those wanting to walk the circuit descending into Cwmgwdi and back to Herdmans B&B.
